TEST DAY INFORMATION

WHAT TO BRING ON TEST DAY

When you register for a CELPIP Test, you will receive a test confirmation email. Please read this email to confirm the date, time, and location of your test.

On test day, you must bring the original, valid identification that you used to register for the test, and you must present this identification at check-in.

The CELPIP Test is completely computer-delivered. During the test, you will be in a room with other test takers, and you may be able to hear them speaking or typing. The sound of other test takers submitting their responses is a standard test room condition.

1. VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

If the identification document that you bring with you on test day does not meet the following requirements, you will not be allowed to take the test, and you will not be able to transfer your test or receive a refund:

  • Your identification document must be the same one you used to register for the test. It must match the registration details you entered during registration, including full name and document number.
  • Your identification document must be original. Photocopies of identification are not acceptable.
  • Your identification document must be valid.
  • Your identification document must be unexpired.

The name and date of birth entered for your CELPIP Test registration must match exactly with the ID you present on the day of the CELPIP Test. If the name does not match, you may be refused entry to the test and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Alternatively, if you have already taken the CELPIP Test, your registration details may be reviewed afterwards, and if they do not match exactly with the ID presented on the day of the test, your CELPIP Scores may be blocked and not released.
